LOOP CHECKS COMMISSIONING SUPERVISOR, H/FBELGIUM

We are currently seeking a LOOP CHECKS COMMISSIONING SUPERVISOR to join a major industrial project in Belgium.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the loop checks execution of systems, equipment, and instruments within an assigned project area, ensuring that all control systems are correctly interfaced, tested, and validated in compliance with project specifications and operational requirements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and coordinate loop checks and interface testing activities
• Supervise loop checks execution with subcontractors, vendors, and site teams
• Review test procedures, loop folders, and vendor documentation
• Monitor progress and follow up on technical and scheduling corrective actions
• Identify issues, manage non-conformance reports, and support troubleshooting
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate commissioning records
• Ensure compliance with HSE and site safety procedures
• Support final acceptance and handover of commissioned systems

PROFILE

• A degree in Controls / Instrumentation Engineering or a related field, with substantial experience in control systems / loop checks commissioning or a similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of control and instrumentation systems, including simple and complex loop checks / interfaces, as well as software testing (Modbus, OPC, PLC, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Fluent in English
