RÉPONDRE À CETTE OFFREWe are looking for an HSE Inspector to support a major industrial project at the Gas Terminal in Dunkirk.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Inspections & Audits
- Perform daily inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify potential hazards.
- Conduct internal HSE audits to verify compliance with legal requirements, client standards, and company policies.
2. Risk Assessment
- Evaluate risks associated with site activities and propose mitigation measures.
- Provide recommendations to improve safety systems and enforce corrective actions.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incidents.
- Prepare clear reports including findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
4. Training & Awareness
- Support and coach personnel on safety rules, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the site.
5. Incident Investigation
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to determine root causes.
- Recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
6. PDP (Plan de Prévention) Compliance
- Ensure the implementation, monitoring, and follow-up of the Plan de Prévention (PDP) for all relevant activities and subcontractors, in accordance with legal and company requirements.
Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Management.
- Experience in Oil & Gas or hazardous industrial environments is an asset.
- Strong technical knowledge of safety equipment and risk management.
- Valid N1 / N2 accreditation.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
