PLANNING ENGINEER, H/FBELGIUM

We are looking for a Planning Engineer for one of our clients in Belgium, to support their Process and Chemical Project Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in coordination with both internal project teams and the client.
• Establish progress measurement systems and ensure accurate tracking of progress and productivity.
• Coordinate schedule interfaces between the client and EPC contractors.
• Provide regular schedule forecasts, including monitoring of key milestones and critical path.
• Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly progress reports for project management review.

PROFILE

• Bachelors (minimum) or Masters (preferred) degree in relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a site / EPC project environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong ability with spreadsheets (database capabilities is an asset).
• Experience working on complex industrial or energy projects is an advantage
• Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Self-motivated, dynamic, and resilient.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge.
• Fluency in English required; Dutch is an asset.
