INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER, H/FNETHERLANDS

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Systems Engineer to support a major project in nuclear energy and medical isotope production in Netherlands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate contractors for I&C design, implementation, and commissioning.
• Contribute to the acceptance of I&C designs, assess and manage design changes, and ensure robust knowledge management.
• Define and validate I&C requirements, review designs, scope contractor work, and manage technical risks.
• Oversee contractor performance to ensure compliance with project requirements, timelines, and budget.
• Provide expert support for on-site issues and non-conformities in close collaboration with site teams.
• Work with the Design Integration Manager to ensure a fully integrated and coherent design.
• Support the Design Assurance Manager in maintaining a traceable and validated design under strict configuration control.
• Review key safety and project documentation (e.g., POSAR).
• Partner with construction, procurement, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth project execution.

PROFILE

• Minimum 5 years' experience in I&C systems engineering, ideally in the nuclear or large-scale industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of public address, telephony, and LAN systems.
• Proven experience with contractor management and technical oversight.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage complex technical interfaces while ensuring safety and quality compliance.
