RÉPONDRE À CETTE OFFREWe are currently looking for an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER to support a major nuclear project in Belgium.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage electrical design, renovation, and optimization studies in compliance with local and international standards.
- Define equipment ratings, technical specifications, and system designs (generators, protections, transformers, MV/LV motors, AC/DC boards, cabling, emergency power, etc.).
- Act as Contract Owner for procurement: prepare tenders, evaluate bids, lead technical-commercial negotiations, and award contracts.
- Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines and existing installations.
- Follow up on the technical and commercial aspects of contracts.
- Participate in factory acceptance tests, site supervision, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Provide expert consulting on electrical systems in nuclear power generation.
- Monitor market developments, industry best practices, and updates to nuclear/electrical standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of electrical engineering methodologies
PROFIL
- Master's degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical engineering, preferably within nuclear power systems (including safety function classification and qualification).
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, with a good command of French.
- Team-oriented, motivated, and customer-focused.
- Proactive, rigorous, and responsible, with a dynamic and innovative approach.
- Willing to travel for short- to medium-term missions, with regular on-site activities in Doel.
