CIVIL SUPERVISOR, M/FDUNKIRK

We are currently seeking an experienced CIVIL SUPERVISOR for a major natural gas infrastructure project in Dunkirk, France.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise all civil activities on-site, including excavation, foundation work, concrete pouring, and structural installations.
• Ensure that construction activities are conducted in compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental policies.
• Coordinate with the project manager and other discipline supervisors to ensure the civil works align with the overall project timeline and milestones.
• Monitor the progress of work and resolve any issues that arise on-site.
• Review and interpret civil engineering plans and specifications, ensuring proper execution and compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections of the site to ensure the quality and safety of work performed.
• Ensure that all civil works are completed within the allocated budget and schedule.
• Manage the subcontractors and vendors involved in civil works, ensuring performance meets project standards.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, including safety, quality, and budget updates.

PROFILE

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervising civil works, ideally within the energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects, particularly in energy or gas infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
